Kaikaus made principal secretary to PM

The government has appointed Ahmad Kaikaus as the principal secretary to the prime minister.
The senior secretary, who is now at the helm of the Power Division, will be replacing Md Nojibur Rahman, who is set to retire on Dec 30, according to a notification by the public administration on Sunday (Dec 29.)
Kaikaus joined the Power Division as its secretary-in-charge in December 2016 and in February next year he took over the office of secretary.
Prior to joining the Power Division, he worked for three years as the deputy chief of USAID-funded Party of the Policy Research and Strategy Support Program (PRSSP) at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI).
